I Ching Rhythms
Completed September 3, 2014
64 short melodies that follow the archetypal melody and is presented in the rhythm also suggested by the patterns of each I Ching hexagram.
OPUS 159 NOTES
I Ching Rhythms is a systematic work that explores the rhythms of the I Ching and the I Ching Treegram archetypal melodies.
After hearing a composer who works in electronic music doing background house music, I was inspired to write this work.
I believe this work is a work that will open hidden vibrations of our being, healing and enlightening as the tonalities gradually rises, and the tempo gradually increases.
This work presents the I Ching rhythm in two octaves and two speeds, plus the archetypal melody in the octave about the higher, faster I Ching rhythm and the melody in the lower octave below the slower lower rhythm.
