128 Amens
for two solo instruments and tape
This work was approved for a recording grant from Canada Council for the Arts, but did not get funded because they ran out of money before getting to my project (argh!) in 2007.
The five page pencil score is saved, but was written in scales version three. I completed the revision in scales version five on January 23, 2019, and completed the recording on January 24th.
Written in Penn Valley, California in June-July 2007 and at the Bear Valley Music Festival.during my last year there.
This composition is unique:
I know of no other musical composition like this with constantly changing tonalities and tempos
