Short videotaped scenes of Richard's trip to California and back June 2024. Intended to be performed with the musicians in front of the video screens On January 27, I started working on the music for this. I have been working on the book "Harmonic Polytonal Rows", and notice two days ago the modes of the I Ching Scale 11-47 titled "Group Efforts" are particularly unusual. This will be my musical exporation for that scale ann its modes. There are six movements to this work which can be put into a set of 18 short movments when combining with Snap Shot, Op. 326 1 (13): Angkula Seo Suspension Bridge 2 (14): Big Tree at Grass Lake Rest Stop 3 (15): America's Tallest Flagpole 4 (16) : Noisy Creek 5 (17): Mill Pond Bridge 6 (18): Little Waterfall I am becoming moe interested in using moder instruments No. 1 - Using IC 11-47 in tonic scale of Ab No. 2 Using scale 11-47 but focusing on the mode based on F and candencing on G No. 3 Using scale 11-47 but focusing on the mode based on C No. 4 Mode based on C and candencing on G No. 5 Mode in A No. 6 Mode in B
