Richard Burdick writes: "Recently I was asked if I support music by living composer; which I have a long history to doing. For my recordings I focus on my own music or public domain music. When I find things like this horn quartet I record it. I am not influenced by who wrote it as much as the afforablilty of releaseing a recording. Genereally I think my choice of composers is blind like justic. Adolf Jäckel, is another "almost lost" composer - it's nice music."
