This recording has been in process for since 2011. In 2011 and 2012, I wrote the "More than 64 Quartets , Op. 178" and presented them on CD33, but they were in an older version of my I Ching Scales, so in the last couple of years (2022-23) I re-worked these quartets into my I Ching Scales version 5.
This is the string quartet version of the horn quartets.
These short quartets are very expressive, and the whole set deserves to be performed as a full-half concert
This CD is recorded with the 64 microtonal tonics of the I Ching Scales Cycle.
