Tracks 1-3:
Septet in G, for Oboe, English Horn, Clarinet, Two Horns, and Two Bassoons, Op. 315: I. AndanteA beautiful Andante, followed by a playful fugue like allegro, then a Menuet that is the hardest movement for the players with a fast I Ching inspired melody and a Copeland-esque fourth movement which has horn calls that bring the work to a strong end.

I. Andante (sort of in IC 10-06 c.1/18/22)
II. Allegro (in IC 43-22)
III. Menuet (in 35-27)
IV. Allegro (in 10-06)

Tracks 4-6:
Septet in D, Op. 319: I & II. Moderato & Like Andante
A really nice warm piece of music with a jazzy chord structure. This is a work that is possibly played by two natural horns (in G and C) with string quartet or string orchestra and piano.

Track 7:
Nobo Patoral for Horn, Bass Clarinet and String Quartet, Op. 327a
A beautiful work featuring an exchange between the French horn and the bass clarinet with lovely parts for flute clarinet and the two bassoons. In the I Ching scale based on the hexagram No. 52 "Beholding."

The composer writes: "I always love a good typo!
YES the title is "Nobo Patorale."" It's 2nd on the search list just under Beethoven's Patorale Symphony!

Track 8:
Encountering (Decet) Chamber Concerto for Violin with Wind Quintet, Trumpet, Double Bass and 2 Percussions, Op. 316 - An action packed four minutes
                  in I Ching Scale 02-44
Early in Novemeber 2021Mr. BurdickI started a series of compositions for wind quintet with an added solo. Percussion was added and was much freer in the instrumentation than a should have been. In this group of works so far is:
Impressions - Chamber Concerto for Viola, Op. 309Septet in D, Op. 319, Op. 319 
Hans' Solo Undectet, Op. 317 
Encountering - Nonet with violin solo, Op 316 
Septet in G, Op. 315 

Track 9: Chamber Symphony No. 12 for 21 Players, Op. 255 (2021)
This work is one that could be peformed in equal temperement (as on this recording), and it's easy to read the parts in this way, or it can be performed with each of the 65 sections in a slightly different base tuning, rising about 20 cents per section.

Impressions Chamber Concerto for Viola with Wind Quintet and Percussion - Somewhat expressionistic music that captures the covid era and transforms it with a choral
in I ching scales: 48-49, 04-50, 36-03 & 16-04

The Open Mindset for Saxophone Quartet or Horn Quartet is a work that can be performed with or without an orchestra. It is a companion piece to The Mindset Opus 242 and The Body Set Opus 250. The work is intended for quartet to perform in front of a video screen. The video shows dancing images of the I Ching Hexagrams.
